Frank. Yes. A lot of things look like a bargain now. But who knows. The bargains may get better. (;

Condemming QCOM's CEO? Ugh. He has made many people pretty darn rich. I can see how you may have received some feedback here. gg. I didn't even know that this CEO made cautionary statements. Another Ballmer? You mean he said that his stock was way overvalued? I checked it out. It looks like he only warned that the next qtr may be slower. That's a normal occasion. With all this news out on QCOM about a China deal, I am surprised he would not have waited a while with his comments. When does QCOM come out with their next earnings?

Yes. The game got pretty interesting in the last Quarter. Hm. Got to be tough to lose at the 1 yard line. gg.

Sheesh. Globex looked so good early this morning and now this. Good thing Tuesday is just around the corner, one way or another. This suspense and talk is killing the market. Maybe things get better later on.

Frank. Well, the market turned around. QCOM up 16.

Here is an article on the savings rate in this country. I will be using your phrase of idiotic in this case. gg. I have very little in actual savings accounts. Sorry, my savings are in the markets etc. and I guess I am strictly a spender, even though I have spent little last year. Most of my spending was on Xmas and the like. But I know that I saved more than I spent. It's about time the GVT gets with it when it comes to stocks. More people than ever own stocks now and we are being called a low savings rate country. I bet you that we can hold up a candle to many industrial countries if we include stocks into the savings. Most all of my children save through stock plans and the like. Who wants a 4% return on passbook savings?

Talking about, what you called "a real nail biting and knashing of teeth" concerning last nights game. I felt like this earlier today when it came to the stock market. gg.

The sun came out today and I guess the market decided to follow suit.

Let's see what will happen before Wednesday 2:15. The majority on the street believes it will be a 25 basis point rate hike. The minority is in the camp of none or a 50 basis point hike.

Most analysts believe that the worst in the NAZ correction is over or nearly over. Money is still plentiful as we can see from todays action.
