More impressive moves! Paracelsian Announces Significant Leadership Additions ITHACA, N.Y., Feb. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Paracelsian, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: PRLN - news) ITHACA, N.Y., announced today that Dr. Mac Shaibe has accepted an invitation to serve on the Paracelsian Board of Directors. Dr. Shaibe's appointment to the Board lasts until the next shareholders' meeting, when he will stand for election. Dr. Shaibe's background includes significant positions in academia, government and the private sector. Perhaps most noteworthy, Dr. Shaibe is a co-inventor of the Internet, having co-authored for DARPA (Defense Advanced Research Project Agency) in 1967 the design of the Inter-University Computer Network that became the Internet. Dr. Shaibe has also been involved throughout his career in the development of public policy. He served as Director of Standards at the Bureau of Labor Statistics, provided high-level consultation services to the United Nations on a variety of issues, and served as the Chief Advisor on Science Policy to the Prime Minister of Israel. Dr. Shaibe has held positions at George Washington University, American University, and MIT. He received a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Muenster in Germany. Dr. Shaibe came to the United States after his escape from a Holocaust concentration camp in Germany. Dr. Shaibe currently resides in the Washington, D.C. area, and is employed as Chairman of ReGenesis Foundation for UNDP, and as President and CEO of Technology Transfer International. Dr. Shaibe joins Dr. T.
