Voltaire,

I could not agree more. I cannot believe how fast QCOM psychology went from Greed to DEEP FEAR. Bottom is in, weak longs are out. This coupled with our posting form SI'S Q board last night says it all.

"Reaction to the China news, especially by the shorts will be interesting to watch. I believe most analysts did not have this sort of progress in the China negotiations factored in so soon. For us, its huge, as our valuation model on QCOM is royalty driven going forward. The sooner those royalties flow, the more they are worth. Even we have been caught by surprise over the speed of this development."

Volts, one more thing..you are right, the perspective on the Q is now forward looking...looking toward's a China deal, a NOK deal, even and AT&T? deal!?!? But none-the-less FORWARD looking. Analysts, MM's, etc from now on cannot focus on last quarter or even this quarter, they must once again look at what QCOM will be in 5 years...a Colossus!

V,
bank stocks are up today...i am thinking that may mean a 1/4 point rise likely. if true, your call to buy today is absolutely correct.

""The psychology in the Q right now is forward looking and the psychology with the NAZ is backward looking.""

"V" my friend you can't have the Nas looking back and Q going forward. Not going to happen.
Sell pressure will catch up to it, as it is now only up 3 points as I type.
