eDig and Veda/Compaq

If Tinroad's information via VedaLabs is correct, this would easily fit into to the commentary in today's shareholder letter re: the home and auto markets. Veda has been a force for Lucent's ePac and if the Compaq funding is part of the relationship it puts our reference design in the hands of thousands of consumer/end users and starts the race for the handheld and home and auto based players. I would see the opening order as a minimum of 100k units with rapid add-ons up to 500k to 1 million in first year. If Maycom is the manufacturer, that's even a better bottom line for eDig.

The $10/per unit figure in today's letter sounds like a combo of licensing and per unit charges when eDig is NOT the contract turnkey manufacturer. I'm pleasantly surprised at the amount of that figure.

Last qtr's. 118k revenue indicates the Lanier shipment did not get out prior to 12-31-99. Best explan. is shortage of fm cards.

11.2 may be low of day before 1600.

Best to all:

P.S. Carl M's sentiments have not allowed him to profit because of what he thinks this company is all about. Suggest he takes his eyes off the rear-view mirror.
