Harry; thank you for both posts (set aside for further..)- meanwhile T2113 61.04 & McLellan Oscillator -97.21, continuing down from the -70 zone-which Achelis seemed to indicate was not so good, if it continued rather than reversed (but of course no clue as to what level the reversal had to occur by!). You said -100 was a wake-up call of some kind.

I was unsure of what Thomas posted; but it seemed he might be saying a tank followed by late morning or early afternoon strong recovery, lasting 2 or 3 days depending on the Fed; then retest etc.

No reversal in sight...except for that oversold on the T2113?

Dorothy

Harry; T2113 61.26 (+8.34), T2106 -103.72 (-25.63).
However it looks like a degree of recovery is occurring.

BTW found the right Pirelli symbol among the Optical players,
but TC3 won't take it.

>>>The sector breakdowns in post #24968 are my own sectors..
I haven't been watching rotation, except
via Schaeffer's Market Recap which more
or less reassures you that it's happening.
So this gives a handle on where to look.
BUT, surely must be slippery slope to grasp
stops advancing. As rotation occurs,
one sector stops & another starts, no?

These were (more or less) Clint's Indices,
but that way you don't choose the stocks (fine by me <g>)

Brian Finnerty from Unterberg was proclaiming today on CNBC that they were buying NT and JDSU... I love JDSU for a flip - a great trader up and down.
