Gee...anybody see the Hewlett Packard commercials with the garage that they started their company in? Does anyone know the beginnings of Microsoft? Dell? What we know...Flash memory is going to be big (cnbc did a piece on that a couple of weeks ago). Edig has the patents on their "Robust" MicroOS system that is attracting big companies. Lucent (Bell Labs inventors of the transistor) has them build music devices. Intel has them build their prototypes. Maycom Licenses Edigs player for their newest IJam (IJam was the only downloadable music device in Sharper Image this Xmas). The lead designer for Maycom comes to work for Edig. Twenty-five year Intel veteran (Skip Matthews young at 55) new product manager involved in Flash Memory leaves Intel comes to Edig. Not to mention relationships with IBM, Sandisk, Lanier, etc.
