EVERYONE. . . .do you remember all those PROFITOFTEN warnings when the markets were up?

How many times did I say it? . . .about a half dozen?

When we have such highs, we MUST take some profits. . . we all must discipline ourselves to sell something when it is up like that. . .anything. . . forget about what it might do tomorrow. . . that is simply 'unrealized gains' . . . and we have unrealized gains on every single stock that goes up each day.

My PROFITOFTEN warnings were very UNPOPULAR. . . .like being a party pooper. . .but when that party gets busted, we have much time to ponder why we failed to heed the warnings. And if you did NOT sell on the PROFITOFTEN warnings, then you don't have the cash to take advantage of the terrific prices on the best-of-the-best stocks.

I sold out. . . but bought too many too early. . . and am trading to get the better stocks at lower and lower prices. . .in anticipation of a turnaround. . . but again, that is a "gamble", not an investment. . .it is laying money down in anticipation of something happening. . . and must be treated like that.

Our core positions should still be in the rock solid companies. . .foreign tech stocks. . .foreign small caps. . . foreign telecoms. . . as well as our Broadbands and B2Bs. This diversity is getting increasingly important, as volatility makes for a highly manipulatable market.

Russell 2000 is FINALLY breaking down [now plummeting in fact]. . . I feel this is significant in thwarting the broadening out that we saw in January. . . meaning that fewer and fewer issues will be a part of the rebound. . . similar to many of the rallies of 1999. So holding WXYZ that nobody knows about, because you think it may get discovered, might be a dangerous way to play right now. . . as I believe we have seen a top on the Russell. . small caps.

I am sticking with my battle plan.
