Video games, or more strictly, interactive entertainment, is already starting to infiltrate the Internet. Sega's Dreamcast, I believe, can interconnect with the Internet. This will be hastened by the introduction in Tokyo on March 5th, of Sony's PlayStationII. Also the new Nintendo Dolphin could come on stream in 2001. Each of these 3 consoles will be using the Internet to varying extents.

Eventually, these kind of consoles will spearhead the convergence of entertainment into the home around the new digital TV.
