In addition to the partnerships that Symbian has with its shareholders, Symbian has close partnerships with the major players in the wireless industry, including Oracle, Sun, NTT DoCoMO, and Sybase. For more information on Symbian's partners and information on how to become a Symbian licensee see our Commercial Partners section.

Symbian licensees choose the Symbian platform because of its robustness and scalability. The modularity of the platform allows for various levels of customization. This gives licensees freedom to create a vast range of applications and devices. For more information about the Symbian platform see EPOC Technology.
