I would have to add that the new issue - which is being backed by heavy weights such as MSDW & Credit Suisse has to be a really significant positive. Firstly: what does it dilute? Losses per share (fully diluted) are less than losses per share (undiluted). Secondly: $200 million of development capital (paying no loan interest) brings the company nearer to conventional analysis - in other words revenues will be nearer and will not be way in the future like those of bio tech companies just embarking on 5-10 year clinical trials.

BTW, I am not yet long or short of Ballard but it seems that I shall have to make up my mind pretty soon!

Anyway, the stock market seems to have given a strong thumbs up to this 'dilution'.

Hi Greg,
How's the shop?

Re: BLDP
Holy crap! What a move.
I added as well this morning @ 54 1/2.
Message 12731926
I was expecting to see 40's after everyone and their mother was shouting..."DILUTION DILUTION!" But it seemed to hold solid at $51. Interesting that BLDP walked itself down to 50 3/4 on just over 1 mil traded shares, but then on less than half that (approx 500k shares), it moved from the lows to $66! Unbelievable mover this baby is!

Hope this finds you doing well.....
Best,
B
