ttosbt "splits and buybacks"

i couldn't agree more, the very thing that makes the goose fat, also brings it to slaughter.......the last split not necessary, particularly in light of the earnings disappointment occurring almost in unison with the split. no real shareholder value, increased liquidity. but a buy back would tend to abort the program selling of dell management. i would put aside my personal accrual of wealth, and initiate such a program, as it would create, hopefully, more wealth down the road. time to show "vision", in the eyes of the street...as a shareholder, one must be concerned of the street opinion, sans dividend, appreciation is all that is left.

the dell model is facing problems going forward, that they have no control over....i wouldn't be surprised to see them hold more days of critical inventory.
