Hi Paul:

No monotonic increase in Q4 by Intel? Harbinger of things yet to come, maybe? One of the best quarters ever for microprocessors and all INTC could do was maintain Q3 levels? Not a good sign Paul, especially when AMD shows an increase of 35%...But I do have to say your explanation ranks along with fudd's in avoiding the difficult and the obvious (to most anyway)!

Re: "It is easy to show a quarter to quarter sequential growth rate when THREE QUARTERS AGO AMD's CPU sales PLUMMETED. Intel's CPU sales have monotonically increased - so they haven't benefitted from a self-inflicted disaster.
Can't a SpryBrain like you figure this out without having me to explain it to you?"

Paul, he's had this explained to him several times and it just goes in one ear and out the other. Leaky brain syndrome.
