t2, amazing day. Market volatile. A truism: :" Trading JDSU is an art ". Would like to see if we can change into a science, :-) cheers, TA Message #5760 from t2 at Jan 31 2000 3:41PM QCOM, QCOM, QCOM. Even though i don't hold any of this stock, I know that some short term gains in JDSU will be dependent on this stock. QCOM move up puts confidence in JDSU shareholders during this period of a news vacuum, that is, the trading periods like February (and late January). I bought back a lot of what i sold a few days ago and got great prices.<b. Trading JDSU is an art and i did not do as well this time---still did better than buy and hold. However, considering the risk in mistiming, it is probably better to buy and hold. Glad to see an upward move (so far!).
