Chuzz, you are correct that selling naked puts is bullish, and in fact, selling deep-in -the-money naked puts, as Edamo did, is extremely bullish. In Edamo's case the stock has a heckuva lot of appreciating to do before it clears the strike price and maximizes his gain. Selling DITM puts is the most profitable strategy if the stock moves up sharply. It is the most unprofitable, however, if the stock falls.

No wonder our good friend Edamo has been so churlish!
