While I believe that this reiteration was intended to help the markets on a down day, please note the statement re Intel's technological/manu. prowess. It would seem Intel has convinced at least Credit Suisse that they are back on top of their game.

Its something that needs to be watched closely. If its true, AMD's window may be over.

RESEARCH ALERT - Intel <INTC.O> on focus list


NEW YORK, Jan 31 (Reuters) - Credit Suisse First Boston analyst Charlie Glavin said Monday that semiconductor maker Intel Corp. had been added to the firm's focus list.

reiterated strong buy rating.

Intel "is now poised to demonstrate both its technology/manufacturing prowess -- traits that enabled (Intel) stock to double in prior cycles."

saw "substantial upside" for earnings-per-share estimates of $3 for 2000, $3.50 for 2001.

shares closed at 94.
