From your article, Scot: AMD plans to deploy the AMD-760 and AMD-770 chipsets in 2001 at a 266-MHz microprocessor bus speed, said Ron Huff, division marketing manager at the company's Computation Products Group in Sunnyvale, Calif. I thought AMD was going to release a 266 MHz EV6 bus sometime in 2000. Would this qualify as a slip? Also, it seems that AMD won't be able to support DDR until 2001 as well. I can't imagine how a 1 GHz Athlon isn't going to be crippled by PC100 or PC133 SDRAM. Tenchusatsu
