"I don't wish to argue semantics with you."

Then why the exasperatingly long epic response?

"The value of Zicam will be determined largely by consumers..."

Most of whom still don't seem to even know it exists. I guess it takes a while for that ingenious word of mouth campaign to take full hold eh?

"By conducting studies, Gum Tech has exhibited confidence that Zicam works, because they have to release the results to
shareholders (and the public) whether the results are good or bad."

The only thing they've proven by conducting studies is that they are very skilled at using public perception to hype their product. So far, they have released nothing. Or did you forget the very cleaver AJIC rejection (oops, I'm sorry, WITHDRAWL)?

"This publicity should sell plenty of Zicam and it won't cost Gum Tech a penny in advertising."

Like I said, they are very skilled at manipulating the media in order to influence public perception.

"I have never orchestrated a campaign to prove that Zicam works."

No, you only post lengthy and repetitive posts in response to anyone, anywhere on SI that has even the slightest criticism of GUMM or Zicam ad nauseum, whether the comments are directed at you or not.

"It is absurd to imply that I somehow aided the rally in GUMM."

Yet, you feel compelled to respond to any and all posts that contain criticism of GUMM because you feel that comments by shorts could have a negative impact on GUMM's stock price. In fact, a number of your buddies here have said that they believe some people on SI can influence stock price.
