Unbelievable!

Ole Tom "Jan Y2K melt up x 5" Galvin is actually on Moneyline giving his opinion. LOL! Nobody holds these idiots accountable for their stupid guesses. Any of those guys using fundamental analysis to predict short-term movements (more a function of psychology) in the stock market are a joke.

George, aside from the small lowrisk.com sample, all the other sentiment measures are equally giving one pause. note that today accomplished what i suspected a bounce early this week would do: it pushed the p/c and Rydex ratios right back down. imo the recent drop of both ratios to historic lows suggest that the market has become very dangerous in the short term. for the longer term, the level of complacency that has set in since bubble boy rescued the market for the umpteenth time in '98 is unprecedented...it is not so much people's expectation of continuing stellar gains that is worrisome, but the wide-spread attitude that nothing untoward can possibly happen.
