Poet, I think it was edamo who said: "You never go broke taking a profit... Well, maybe he said you never go broke taking an eggregious profit and screwin' the specialist at the same time, but I'm inclined to agree. Particularly where tax considerations aren't at the front... Have always believed it's OK to have someone on the other side of the trade get the best of me by 20% going into the trade and 20% going out. Leaves the middle 60% for schmucks like us....
