Hi Sam:

AMD currently at 436, INTC at $100...Ask Paul if he really believes that at the end of Y2000:

1) The ratio of Intel to AMD (i.e. $100/$36) will be this large and if not why not convert INTC shares to AMD share now?

2) Intel Y2000 eps will be greater than AMD eps, after taking into consideration effects of a split in either Intel or (more likely?)AMD shares?

Hope you have more luck extracting a straight answer to either of these questions than did I!

Paul: Re: The wide-eyed AMDroids that post on this thread suck in new BELIEVERS all the time with their visions of glory - To Kill Intel ! (Such a noble cause !!!)

This drives up the stock periodically - especially when AMD lucks out and occasionally stumbles upon making a profit - such as last quarter.

These run-ups provide a great opportunity to make a good profit.

And it is like a renewable energy source.

Then why not join in the bandwagon and help bring in "new BELIEVERS" to maximize your profits, instead of condemning the "AMDroids" that are doing your portfolio a service?
