To ALL members of the Island. Look who I found a new member - drifting around on his inner tube in the ocean. Please welcome WWOE88 - here his is message from RB I am sure you all can comment on his BIG "O" SC, Thanks for communicating here at RB. I was an obsessive lurker on "The Island" thread (SI) for over a year. Never missed an episode. It was nice to discover this thread a while back. I've been a "ploud owner" of this stock for about 18 months and the Island Gang is the only perks I got. Can you tell me why it is beleived that MADI will come out of the pinks in about a month? Or is this just you guys fooling around, betting on more cases of Moosehead Beer? I don't mind the bets, but am just wondering if this PINK thing may be true. Please tell them over at SI to save a spot near the beach for me when the island re-emerges. I've got a BIG "O" around my butt from being out to sea so long in this inner tube. SunCasper, lemme give you a few seeds for thought. Lets foolishly assume that Madison actually and honestly believes that they will get off the pinkies, that's the premise. If they believed they really had a good product then it should support a higher price. They were at 3-4 cents when they went pink, at a penny now. Why aren't they buying? It's been almost 2 weeks now without any action. They also said they'd buy back up to 1 million shares up to a max price of $1.00 per share. (3-11-99) Hummm, I think that equates to about 100 million share buy back at the current price. Ain't happenin' buddy. If you'd like to reduce the bet back down to a 6-pak I'll understand. I've got 26 days and counting. There's so many cobwebs growing around the volume if it ever does move I might not see it. If we were betting sumthin' stupid like house, car, or dog, I might feel guilty, but beer is beer. DuGen
