Honestly, though, have you ever heard such horseshit in your life? Who did they think they were kidding? Both husband and wife have a legal RELIGIOUS right to regular sexual intercourse in Jewish marriages. I think once a week is minimum, and if either party requests it, the other should comply, although poor health is an excuse. My understanding is that the Sabbath is traditional for the once-a-weekers, but I might be wrong there. Makes sense, no work that day, you're rested up, in a good mood.

If God didn't want the mother of Jesus to have sex, he wouldn't have had Him born to a woman who was already engaged to be married, IMO.
