><>...He is having a ball with you guys!!!...><>
And Mr. Barry is not the only one!!! The others have made themselves known for quite some time.
You guys continue to give him/Them a platform!! You put him/Them on center stage!
Lights, camera, action!! He's got all your attention. People like him/Them crave it...and you guys give it to him!
Turn from him/Them and his/Their wicked ways, give him/Them no place...Resist.... him/Them and he/they will flee!!!!
All that your responses do is give him/Them an opportunity to come back at you in your face....and in the face of God!!
Turn him/Them aside I say again, and let him/Them rant and rave on his/Their own,he/They will soon find it very unsatisfactory, he/They will get no pleasure if he is not recognized for his evil sayings!!! He will soon tire of having his platform completely dismantled by mature Christians!!! And to God be the glory!!
Their words are filthy and worthless, why do you even bother yourselves with them? State God's case and get out...lest you also become tainted with a reputation as they.
Don't allow the filthy rantings (which go on and on)...of cold and Godless hearts to distract you from the commission set before you by Christ our Lord and Master. Let your conversations be of spiritual things on high. Fellowship and converse one with another of those things that bring glory to God.
Let all who come here be impressed with your love and dedication to the one and only true God, the God of all gods!!!The great I AM!! Our most holy Father!!
Let them also be impressed with the love we show for one another, with others, with all mankind!!! Speak of his goodnes, his mercy, his grace, his love, and most of all...be not distracted by the enemy and his evil ways!! We know his ways...they are deceitful and evil....he will do anything to keep us from bringing the good news!! Give him and his cohorts..... no place!!!!
Love in Christ to all who glorify God Shalom...><>
Col 3 1 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. 2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. 3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. 4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory. 5 Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry: 6 For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience: 7 In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them. 8 But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth. 9 Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds; 10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him: 11 Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all. 12 Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; 13 Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. 14 And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness. 15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful. 16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. 17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
Avoiding Idle Talk
SHUN the gossip of men as much as possible, for discussion of worldly affairs, even though sincere, is a great distraction inasmuch as we are quickly ensnared and captivated by vanity.
Many a time I wish that I had held my peace and had not associated with men. Why, indeed, do we converse and gossip among ourselves when we so seldom part without a troubled conscience? We do so because we seek comfort from one another's conversation and wish to ease the mind wearied by diverse thoughts. Hence, we talk and think quite fondly of things we like very much or of things we dislike intensely. But, sad to say, we often talk vainly and to no purpose; for this external pleasure effectively bars inward and divine consolation.
Therefore we must watch and pray lest time pass idly. When the right and opportune moment comes for speaking, say something that will edify.
Bad habits and indifference to spiritual progress do much to remove the guard from the tongue. Devout conversation on spiritual matters, on the contrary, is a great aid to spiritual progress, especially when persons of the same mind and spirit associate together in God. Thomas A. Kempis |
