I wonder how long it will take for traders and investors to realize that NG is moving away from being just a cold weather story, into being the premier feedstock for the electricity industry? Another hot summer? Who knows? That's probably too subtle a concept to be grasped in this market.

I've no doubt the E&P's you mentioned will do well, both short term and long term. The continuing cold snap should help. Maybe NG is a good hedge against what OPEC does. I just think OPEC won't let oil go below 25 at this point. Good for the whole patch.

Well today's the big day. Does Ganz Macher Greenspan slam on the brakes or just tap them? My bet is for a 25 basis point hike in the Fed Funds and the Discount Rate. I'd be surprised if he really puts the hammer down. Not impossible though.
