I've seen photos of the Klan at it's peak in the 1920s, and they were certainly flying flags when they marched. The American flag. Lots of them. Not a rebel flag in sight. I guess they didn't know what Hollywood expected of them. Oh well. But we can always tell it your way, it's more pc. And the Klan did have its largest membership outside the south, in places like Southern California. But who cares about little stuff like that. What's that word used to describe someone who negatively characterizes a whole group of people? You know, like someone who would broadbrush the South as being just like the KKK? I think the word is 'bigot'. Don't let your hatred eat you up.
