Ward,

I have established a position in the 12's, will double it if it hits 11.30 and will triple it at 10.50. Easy play during the next 6 months. I did the same number crunching and was surprised at how low it has gone. Placer shares are at a 18% discount relative to the POG. I hope we see a nice bounce in the next 4-6 weeks.......DD

(OT) Ward re PDG,

While not supported by technicals perhaps, I would suggest that you keep in mind that an important prospect for PDG is the Las Cristinas property in Venezuela. New mining laws have forced companies to re-file for concession rights, and some are of the view that PDG will not be successful.

Whether this view is correct or not (don't want to start a Crystallex debate!) this MAY explain some of the weakness in the stock, combined with some uncertainty surrounding the South Africa acquisition.

If you feel that the POG will rise(which I can't see on a sustainable basis, given the ample supplies in the market)would you not consider another senior with less static surrounding it?
