Sun Microsystems is moving swiftly to restructure its channel in an aggressive bid to
conduct all U.S. sales over the Web by June. The effort includes a mad scramble to partner
with leading Web integrators like iXL and Zefer, and thereby head off rival vendors on the
e-business front.

Well,

like i said EMC Software like Timefinder, SMTF and Powerpath are the value added components where they get away with charging 10 or 20X the industry standard for a GB of Disk. Plus we all know that reliability and serviceability only applies to Sun Servers :^) Yes, EMC had an edge there vs. some of their competitors designs but do your really think IBM, HP and Sun cant design a reliable and serviceable array cabinet and populate them with Seagate drives??
