Volty, why are you picking July, when previously you were rolling out to Jan 01?

You do lay it on the line. I for one, appreciate it. I am amazed that pre-market traders are being given the chance to get in below 130. With the China deal a done deal (albeit the govt has to approve), Q's estimated earnings for 2001 and 2002 have the potential to double. I don't get the fact that QCOM is stagnated this morning in pre-market trading.

<<40 contracts - July $170's

40 contracts - July $160's

20 contracts - July $150's

6,000 shares - Market

Have a great day,

Voltaire>>

Tom,

Is that all? Man, now I am really concerned. I mean, if your only buying that small amount, you must be very concerned about the future of Q. Hmmm, I guess i need to rethink my strategy and maybe pull some off the table<<ggg>>

V,
A cautious approach to this market would be prudent.

Voltair, and gang.
I'm trying to account for a reason that GMST has had negative money flow since it was announced that they will become a member of the Nasdaq100. I expected index funds would buy the stock therefore we would see a net inflow.

Does anyone know: do mutual funds (especially index funds) which are part of a Family of funds, have to buy on the open market, or can the Family as a whole just shuffle the various stocks between funds internally? It may not only be index funds, for example if a growth stock stops growing, do they just shuffle it off to the value fund, or is there some requirement that the transfer occur in the open market?
