Galaxy Online Inc. (CDN:GOLI) Galaxy Online announced today the
addition of three new board members.

Kenneth Taylor, and Ralph Lean have agreed to serve as directors
on the board of Galaxy Online Inc. The combined experiences,
insights, and talents that these gentlemen bring to the board are
a perfect fit with our new president and our current board
members and will enormously benefit GOLI as we move forward,"

Richard W. Foster: Mr. Foster, currently Vice President of Sales
for CompUSA, has responsibility for the commercial sales business
representing over $2 billion in annual revenues. He has direct
management of 15 Area Sales Directors, and 220 Area Sales
Managers specializing in selling technology products, training
and services to corporate, government and education customers
nationwide. Mr. Foster started his career with IBM and throughout
his career has held numerous sales and management positions. In
addition to owning and operating a computer company, Mr. Foster
was a Vice President of Sales for Compucom Inc. (a computer
reseller and systems integrator).

Kenneth Taylor: Mr. Taylor is a former Canadian Ambassador to the
United States and international diplomat with a distinguished
business and political background. Mr. Taylor's career ranged
from trade development responsibilities in Guatemala, Detroit and
London; foreign aid related matters in Pakistan and crisis
management in Iran, for which he received the United States
Congressional Gold Medal. His work in the private sector has
included six years as Senior Vice President of both Nabisco
Brands/RJR Nabisco.

Ralph E. Lean: Mr. Lean, currently a partner in the Toronto law
firm of Cassels, Brock & Blackwell, has served on the boards of
many distinguished profit and not for profit organizations. Some
of the boards that Mr. Lean currently serves include; Director,
Ontario Teachers Pension Plan; Director, World Film Festival of
Toronto Inc.; Sirit Technologies Inc., SkyLink Aviation Inc.,
Molson Indy Board of Trustees, Asia Pacific Rim Committee of the
City of Toronto, and numerous others. Mr. Lean has been a
campaign Chairman or Senior Adviser to various candidates in
every Federal, Provincial and Municipal election campaign since
1980.

Existing Board Members

James F. O'Donnell: Mr. O'Donnell has been an independent
financial and business consultant since September 1999. Mr.
O'Donnell was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of O'Donnell
Investment Management Corporation, a mutual fund management
company, from May 1993 to August 1999. Mr. O'Donnell was one of
the founding principals and president of Mackenzie Financial
Corporation, which he helped to build from an asset base of
approximately $8 million, to approximately $10 billion, by the
time of his retirement from Mackenzie in May 1993

Tom Shoemaker: Mr. Shoemaker is currently President & CEO of
electric SchoolHouse, Inc. ("electric SchoolHouse"). electric
SchoolHouse provides safe internet access for schools through the
development of specialized software. Prior to joining electric
SchoolHouse, Mr. Shoemaker was Vice President and General Manager
of AT&T's WorldNet Service, where he played a key role from its
inception in 1996. In an 18 year career that spanned AT&T Bell
Laboratories, Bell Communications Research, and AT&T's new
business development organizations, Mr. Shoemaker held a variety
of key roles in several business, technical, and marketing
organizations. Mr. Shoemaker's pioneering efforts helped
establish industry relationships with AOL, CompuServe, Microsoft,
Disney, and others.

Marni Ehrlich: Mr. Ehrlich is presently President & CEO of NetSat
Express, Inc. ("NetSat"), a subsidiary of Globecomm Systems
("Globecomm"). Globecomm (Nasdaq:GCOM) specializes in satellite
communication applications. NetSat provides satellite based
internet backbone connectivity services. Mr. Ehrlich has 20 years
of senior management experience in Internet services,
international telecommunications and E-Business, most notably
with IBM and AT&T. Mr. Ehrlich was Product Marketing Director for
AT&T WorldNet (TM) Service, and was a founder of the AT&T
Internet service.
