NEW YORK (Dow Jones)--Newbridge Networks Inc. (NN, news, msgs) obtained a contract to supply
its multiservice broadband platform for a voice and data network to Thailand's National Electronics and
Computer Technology Center.

Financial terms weren't disclosed.

In a press release Friday, Newbridge said the network is to cover all 76 provinces of Thailand and will
provide a communications link between the country's government agencies.

Newbridge said it will work with Teo-Hong Silom Co. to supply hardware and software for the network.

Newbridge supplies wide area network products for Internet Service companies, local, long distance
and wireless providers, cable television and corporate customers.
