I think there is something going on; greymarket prices aren't moving right for a surplus. See cpureview.com -- look how flat some of the P3's have been. The P3-500 even went up the last month. The question is, why? Is it ravening demand, as management might imply, or is it some sort of problem with production, as The Register has said? I will say one thing -- if this keeps up, Athlon will start taking down market share. -mb

Skeets, It has long been rumored that Dell pays a lower price for Intel products than other firms. Both Dell and Intel have denied it. But if Dell doesn't switch to Athlons, I think that will have to go into the evidence pile as a vote for the big lie. <g>
