From todday's morning letter:
Microforum Inc. (MCF : TSE : $11.40) David Wong (604) 643-7739

Recommendation: BUY
Web site address: www.microforum.com
12-month target price: $14.00
52-week price range: $14.05-0.42
Shares O/S: basic 33.9M
fully diluted 43.1M
Major shareholders Mgmt. & Directors, 10.2%
Weekly trading volume: 2.5M
Gross margins (Q3/f2000): 39.7%
Market capitalization: $474.1M (f.d.)

The company announced further positive developments with its Chapters
Online and Microsoft relationships, whereby MCF is contracted to
design and develop a new website to target the Canadian home and
garden market. The terms, name, and web address were not disclosed.
However, we are pleased with the additional business from Chapters
Online, which reinforces MCF's reputation as a high-end, Microsoft
ecommerce solution provider. With all the different competing
ecommerce solutions in the market place, the Microsoft ecommerce
solution remains one of the most popular, as it currently runs about
50% of the world's ecommerce websites. We continue to see that MCF's
strong relationship with Microsoft has not only helped to endorse the
iFront ECS but has also helped to channel more new business to the
company.

We maintain our 12-month target price of $14.00. Microforum is a BUY.
