WhoLovesYa,

That earnings announcement and subsequent conference call was truly the low point of my relationship with Ancor. I simply could not believe the numbers that day.

Unfortunately, even though 1999 brought MANY new OEM and reseller announcements, revenues have risen only modestly, and costs have risen even faster. Even more amazing is that nobody wants to talk about the fact that there are now close to 30 million shares outstanding, and that interest income accounted for 3.44 cents per share in the just completed quarter. I'll grant that having that much money in the bank is a major plus, but excluding the unexpected Boeing order, and the interest income, the other OEMs didn't generate any real growth that I can see. (Sun was a plus, but on a GAAP basis, the entire revenue stream was cancelled out by the warrants.)
