I'll tell you why. It's all BS

You really think the Market Makers don't have more then their "fair share" of their hands in the pot?

I agree since the Electronic exchanges and the daytrading frenzy, this has decreased their manipulation, but cmon.......sometimes it is real obvious. JMHO

Guy,

If you think that the average investors and the fund managers are playing on equal grounds then you are quite naïve. And if you think that analysts and fund managers are not privyed to information before releasing it to the general public, then you are really innocent and unaware of all the backdoor BS that takes place.

I can give you a pageful of names and incidents. Do you remember Niles warning last year about DELL??? Or better yet, go to this site on SI and read posts #30 to 32.

I disagree. I see stocks moved lower big time to cross large blocks. Then they move the price back up. If the little guys get shook out they do not care. Check out the action on DEQ.UN if you want an example. Trades on the TSE. They dropped it to 18.25 to cross several hundred thousand shares and now its back over $20. With JDSU it's less likely due to the market cap and liquidity. However I recall the stock tanked when they crossed the last big block sold by Fukuwara then recovered.
