OT Russ:

What really, really got me was later, when I telephoned Xerox to let them know their Docuprint P12 would not work with the scanner. The person there literally groaned on the phone. Her voice tone was one of obvious annoyance when she told me Xerox had contacted HWP numerous times to tell them to add Xerox's printers to HWPs list of printers that have problems with the parallel scanners [there is a list of printers that have problems that comes with the scanner documentation]. She said HWP ignored them, would not even respond to Xerox's **letters** (not notes) stating that Xerox laser printer can not properly share parallel devices.

From all I have picked up, HWP doesn't listen to anyone, customer or other manufacturers.

Compaq and Xerox? Tops. From a customer position, I would buy from them again any day.
