The SSR-2000 provides layer 2-7 switch routing for both LAN and WAN environments, at speeds ranging from 10/100 to Gigabit Ethernet. RoamAbout offers flexible (Wi-Fi ready) wireless LAN connectivity at speeds up to 11 megabits per second (Mbps), based on the IEEE 802.11b industry standard. This solution combines the benefits of wire-speed Gigabit routing and the mobility of wireless networks to enable a secure, reliable enterprise network.
``We are excited to work with InformaTech, a leading clinical technology and professional services firm, to deliver solutions for the healthcare market. As more specialized medical applications move onto the network, reliability, performance and mobility will become crucial factors for healthcare providers,' said Bob Anderson, senior director of enterprise solutions at Enterasys Networks.
