Don, TMO, THI and co. are old friends who have made me beaucoup money on the long side, though mostly in the earlier half of this decade. Alas, I have not looked at them in so long that I can't help you on this. I may take a look soon and also give the hairy eyeball to closed end Thermo Opportunity Fund TMF), which sells at a 13% discount to net asset value. It was up 53% last year, which isn't too shabby given their limited charter. However, it must be pretty boring to be a portfolio manager when they go from 20 stocks to 2. <g>
