On occassion, espeically when it trades at a BIG discount, I mention Central Fund of Canada (AMEX:CEF)

Website: centralfund.com

It is a closed-end mutual fund that holds gold bullion (132,227 ounces) and silver bulliion (6,615,768 ounces) so it is about 50/50 gold/silver.

Last year, probably due to Y2K hype it often traded at a small premium to NAV, which has come off.

NAV is now $3.86, market price is 3.4375, discount is almost 11%

I know it isn't a leveraged silver stock, but it might be a way to acquire an interest in some physical silver at a discount
