Soumen, my statement was and is serious.

The first part of my scenario is coming true, the market is being run up into the close and is nicely above the SPX median line as described. The players are expecting 0.25...

They will get 0.50 and a bias towards tightening.

The problems are International pressure and a new round of currency weakness, etc....

IMO a 50 basis point hike is noit justified at this stage.
He will do a 25 with a tightening bias with a further 25 if
necessary. I think the market moves sideways till the interest rate picture becomes clearer. Stock selection will
be of paramount importance.
