Ali - Will check out actual availability this weekend. I can't help who advertises on Long Island (which has 2.7 million people) but unfortunately only one daily mass circulation newspaper. We don't have a Fry's here, we don't have a BestBuy. We have lots of Circuit Citys and Comp USAs and many local chains sized 2,3,4 stores each. The add I saw caught my eye only because it was the back page of a section. Usually they all have adds on the weekend. This was a midweek add so I wasn't really looking for it - it was just there. So your position is that the chain is advertising an HP computer it can't deliver. Interesting marketing approach. I'll check it out and let you know. Who knows, you might be right. If you are I'll tell you know. I did know that IBM was reorganizing their approach to the consumer market but I wasn't aware of the details. However, the price on the featured IBM PC seemed REAL low and that was somewhat surprising. Just responding to your post saying "Even Burt can't locate" etc. Wanted to tell you when I did locate (at least an add). A truer indication is the weekend paper when there are lots of full page adds. Regards, Burt
