the explanation is probably somewhere between the observations and the party line.

DELL saying at least March now on the P3-800s.

HP 800s at Frys.

Wasn't a lot of discussion being spewed out in the recent past about "you really don't need a faster computer"?
Another hint of *ntel's PR perception plan?

*ntel bet AMD would stumble and blew it again.
*ntel wasn't prepared for the volume of 750/800 demand.
Cost DELL 3c a share. We will see what is said next Q for DELL.

I have no doubt *ntel is meeting their planned production of 750/800s. Their plans just turned out to be wrong?
