Sawtooth: WK was drawn up as a joint venture for good reasons. The warm embrace of MSFT was kept one step removed thereby.

And this helped the Q keep its options open re Palm, and others.

As MSFT has moved to take over the management of WK, that structure looks more and more wise.

If it works, great. Onward and upward. If not, then downside is minimal.

Once more that looks like a careful choice by the Q whose leaders seem to be much better in practical management choices than other visionary leaders have been in the past.

Again kudos to the Q's management for being cautious and careful.

Re what WK actually does, the running in place so far seems to be symptomatic.

Best.
