it is. in any case, imo it's about time that the socialist government lost power in Austria. 30 years is simply too much. and since there is no alternative to the new coalition (it's either that or the socialists remain in power) so be it. of course the establishment is in a huff: there are valuable posts and perks being lost and imo the Austrian socialists have enlisted the help of their European friends to try and stop the new coalition dead in it's tracks. like i said, it's their last stand to defend their sacred pork barrel grounds. they would rather see Austria ostracized over this than lose power.
