Howard, Is this any more than a chewable Zinc lozen......more than 100 mgs of Zinc per day will do the op of what you want.....it will hamper your immune system.....take too much and the cold gets worse. reminds me of Quigley......any similarities? Shootie

Well, I don't actually recall seeing any advertising for the stuff, just a yellow tag in the middle of a thigh-level shelf with a lower-than-normal price on it. And darn it, I must the luckiest shmuck in the Metroplex in that I always seem to show up at the grocery store right after they've restocked the Zicam, 'cause I've never seen a display of it with empty space for more than two packages. The Albertson's up the road has gotten bit more aggressive, with a nice 40-box display right on an eye-level top shelf, and a "fake sale" price, which must have just gone up this afternoon because the display is quite full. I'll post more reports on that display back on the GUMMy Bear thread.
