x86-cores are not quite the right ones for this domain but if one were to do some the K6-core sans FPU should be interesting for some of the applications .

All we need is a Flash spin-off though. I am wondering if we on SI can get it as a ballot item for vote. Ask the management to spin-off Flash with Fab-25 - use the proceeds to provide working capital for the new company, payoff some of AMD debts, and distribute the remaining shares to the current stockholders.
