The poster on the link was correct about the equivalence of selling puts and covered calls (provided you have 100% cash to secure the position), though.

I heard a radio commercial for a guy named Wade Cook (not sure if you've heard of him, he is a very sleazy peddler of high-priced investment seminars). He was talking about getting income from covered calls, income that he said you could use to "buy groceries"! <ng>
