Hello Robin,

I first read the rumor over at RB but remained silent, hoping it would go away. Later I read it here and gagged.

I'll see if I can find the posting over at RB but finding things there is far more difficult than here at SI.

Regards,

Lynn

The origin of the rumor is some site called JAGNotes. It first showed up over at RB on January 21:

Soup, JAGNotes is a free site EXCEPT for some premium
services like their RUMOR board. Rumors are posted by
brokerage and investment houses. URL is pasted below as well
as company info taken from their Web site.

From company information

"The only time an individual investor or day trader has a chance
to be on the same playing field as large Wall Street institutions is
before the bell. Even then, virtually all of the financial
powerhouses are at a significant advantage over the
well-informed investor and day trader at the start of trading for
several reasons, one of them being JAGNotes.

What are JAGNotes?

JAGNotes are a consolidated investment report on all the stocks
that have had newly issued research, analyst opinions,
upgrades, downgrades and coverage changes. The information
contained in the morning JAGNotes is typically not released to
the street until after the start of trading. JAGNotes gets the
market moving information first and gets it out to JAGNotes
subscribers before the others hear about it!"
