...AltaVista.com...will start paying sites Hey, if they can't make money on it, then the next best thing is to lose money on it. Afterall, if they don't make any money, they will never have to worry about having an excessively high P/E. What ever happened to profitable business models and dividends??? I guess the i-net pimps like MS, GS, CMGI and countless others have convinced the average-joe-retail-(i-nut)-ipo-buyer that these don't really matter in this new era. It's really incredible and will make a good story someday in the not-so-distant future.
