Awwww. Now my little feelings are hurt <sob>.

Message 12747389

Come to think of it, I believe that the vast majority of my short calls have been "too early". I remember that my first short of CYBG was around 7 3/4 and it almost hit 20 before going to zero. I shorted ZONA at 30, shorted more when it hit 15...watched it go back up to 45 (several times), before it finally collapsed to 2.

Hitting the exact top or bottom of a stock is a matter of luck - nothing more. Absolutely no one can claim they can do this. I go long or short when I perceive that the underlying value/fundamnetals are wildly out of kilter with the stock price. No one ever said they couldn't get even more out of kilter.

Some people don't feel complete unless they are dumping on someone else. Online gives them a forum free of real confrontations or consequences, just an airy make believe kingdom where they can be little emperors to their hearts content.

The fact that very few people in the real world give a rat's ass about them one way or another becomes irrelevant.

The perfect refuge for sad little wannabe crusaders.

After living in several ethnically divided countries around the world, I decided that nasty remarks like those directed at Bill tell us far more about the person making them than the intended target. Tells me they are weak, insecure and really not sure whether they are worth much unless they are spouting off at the top of their lungs.

Like your average five-year-old, come to think about it.

Hang in there.
