I think all full time porch members after considerable thinking should bring one thing from their childhood that they cherish more than anything else to the porch so they will always have it for comfort. When you decide, just announce it and it will be so. If it sounds corny, so be it. V

This dedicated to our sick friend elpolvo who PMed me that he his down with the flu. I know what all of your posts of get well meant to me. I went all over town until I found the Disc that had This Old Porch on it. I have played it I know 20 times, it's fantastic and I think of a lot of you when I hear it. Gang you should pick it up, you'll love it. Title of the disc is simply Lyle Lovett. I know our sick friend loves Lovett so I thought I would print out another one for him from us. If I were The Man You Wanted They all sat around in a circle they were laughing and all telling lies and the tall one then bumped them a dollar and said boys I have nothing to hide. And if the King and the Queen stood together then the Ace, he would not be to blame and if the cards were all laid on the table, then love could be more than a game. And if stars didn't shine on the water, then the sun wouldn't burn on the sand and if I were the man she wanted, I wouldn't be the man that I am. Now I have seen my share of long nights and I have told my share of lies, and I have run into the darkness, when I saw the look in your eyes. But if the night didn't lie in the darkness, then the daylight would be hard to find and if truth didn't turn to weakness, I wouldn't have spoken my mind. And if the stars didn't shine on the water then the sun it wouldn't burn on the sand and if I were the man she wanted, I would not be the man that I am. So if you're going out to California, then don't linger in New Mexico and if you think of one then behind you, then you might not be so alone.
